Infant Jesus Ward Feast Celebration - 15th January 2026

Children's Year Inauguration - 11th January 2026

Annual Parish Feast Celebration - 07th January 2026
The Annual Parish Feast was celebrated with great devotion and reverence at the parish church. The celebration began with a solemn Holy Mass during which the significance of the feast and the values of faith, love, and service were emphasized. The church was beautifully decorated, creating a peaceful and prayerful atmosphere for the faithful. Confraternity Sunday - 04th January 2026
The Confraternity Sunday celebration began with a solemn procession from benjanapadav to the church, conducted in an orderly and prayerful manner by confraternity members and parishioners. This was followed by the celebration of Holy Mass, during which the importance of faith, service, and unity was emphasized. Special reverence was given to the Blessed Sacrament, highlighting its central place in the life of the Church and the confraternity. After the Mass and sacramental observances, simple refreshments were briefly shared, allowing members and parishioners to fellowship before dispersing peacefully.
New Year's Eve Celebration - 31st December 2025
The New Year’s Eve celebration at the church was held in a prayerful atmosphere with active participation from parishioners. It began with Sacrament blessings, seeking God’s grace and guidance for the coming year while thanking Him for the many blessings received in the past year, followed by the Holy Mass. During the celebration, the Parish Pastoral Council members took their oath, committing themselves to faithful service of the parish. The event concluded in a spirit of thanksgiving, hope, and renewed dedication to God and the Church.
Christmas Eve Celebration - 24th December 2025
The Christmas Eve celebration at the church began with a Holy Mass, which was attended by many parishioners. The Mass was solemn and meaningful, focusing on the birth of Jesus Christ and His message of love and peace. After the Mass, a small programme was organized, which included carol singing and short performances. Sweets were distributed to all parishioners, and refreshments were also served. The entire celebration was simple, joyful, and filled with the true spirit of Christmas.
Christmas Celebration in All Wards - December 2025
The Christmas celebration was joyfully observed across all wards with active participation from members of every age group. The programme began with a prayer, followed by hymns that set a reverent and festive atmosphere.
This was followed by melodious Christmas carols led by the Yuva Sangatan, whose presence added great energy and devotion to the celebration. Their performance was well appreciated by everyone present.
After the spiritual programme, refreshments were served in every ward. The arrangement of refreshments was well organized, and members shared moments of fellowship and joy.
Overall, the Christmas celebration in all wards was conducted smoothly and successfully, fostering unity, faith, and the true spirit of Christmas among all participants.
Annual Retreat - 5th, 6th and 7th December 2025
The annual church retreat was held on the 5th, 6th and 7th of December 2025. Members gathered for worship, teaching, and fellowship. The retreat was conducted by Fr. Gilbert D’Souza along with the Parish Priest, whose guidance enriched the spiritual experience. Activities included prayer sessions, group discussions, and inspirational messages that encouraged spiritual growth. Suraj Moras Kateel provided music support, adding depth and devotion to the worship moments. The retreat strengthened unity within the church and offered a refreshing time of reflection for all who attended.
Feast of Franciscan Third Ward - 23rd November 2025
On 23rd November 2025, the Franciscan Third Ward joyfully celebrated its annual feast with great devotion and togetherness. The celebration began with a solemn Mass, presided over by the guest priest, Fr. Ivan Pinto, whose inspiring message added meaning to the occasion. Following the Eucharistic celebration, the ward members gathered for a heartfelt prayer meeting, offering thanks and seeking blessings for the year ahead. The event concluded with a time of fellowship, where everyone enjoyed refreshments and warm conversations, strengthening the bond within the community.
Fr Michael's Birthday Celebration - 22nd November 2025
Our parish joyfully celebrated the birthday of our beloved parish priest, Rev Fr Michael Mascarenhas, with great warmth and gratitude. The celebration began with a mass seeking God’s blessings upon Fr. Michael for his dedicated service and guidance to the parish community.
A beautiful birthday cake was cut amidst cheerful singing and smiles all around. A token of gratitude was offered on behalf of all the wards and associations.
The event concluded with light refreshments and joyful fellowship, making the celebration memorable and filled with blessings.
Childrens Day Celebration - 16th November 2025
Yuva Sangatan Bellore celebrated Bourgyaso Yektar on November 16 at 2:30 pm in the church premises with great enthusiasm. The event began with a grand helium balloon release by our Director Rev Fr Micheal Mascarenhas, along with Vice President Mr Vinod Fernandes, Secretary Dixon D’Mello, Youth President Blany D’Souza, and Animator Daison D’Souza. Viola Shaina led the formal stage programme, while Sharon Rebello welcomed the gathering and invoked God’s blessings. Fun entertainment followed, led by Leon Fernandes, with action songs taught by Elain and exciting recreational games for all children. A special highlight was Vishal Fernandes dressed as Mickey Mouse, delighting the kids throughout. A photo booth (sponsored by Mrs Sylvia Fernandes) added to the joy. Welcome drinks, chocolates, and ice creams (sponsored by Mr Vinod Fernandes and Mr Praveen Pinto) were served to all. Each child received a stationery kit as a token of love.
Tiny Saints Competition - 9th November 2025
On 9th November, the YCS Bellore Unit organized a Fancy Dress Show of Saints for children from KG to Grade 10. All the participants were dressed creatively and gracefully, representing various saints. The event began with a solemn procession, where the children entered in their saintly attire. Then each child showcased the saint they represented. After this, Mass was celebrated. During the sermon, the children were reminded to follow the virtues of the saints they were dressed in and to grow in faith just like them. The event was meaningful, inspirational, and enjoyed by all.
All Souls Day - 2nd November 2025
On 2nd November, St. Michael’s Church, Bellore solemnly celebrated All Souls’ Day. Preparations began two days earlier, when parishioners came together to clean and decorate the entire cemetery. On the day of the celebration, a special Holy Mass was offered for all the faithful departed. Following the Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament was conducted, dedicated to praying for the souls in purgatory. After the spiritual service, proceeded to the cemetery, where the priest offered blessings over the graves, praying for eternal rest and peace for all departed souls.
An Hour with Mother Mary - 24th October 2025
October month is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Holy Rosary, to mark this, the youth group of St. Michael Church, Bellore, organized a meaningful Rosary Meet. The rosary meet was conducted on 24 October 2025. The event brought together young people from the parish, fostering spiritual growth and devotion to Mary. The evening began with the youth gathering in the church to pray the Rosary together, reflecting on the mysteries and praying for various intentions. This event was a beautiful way to honor Mary and deepen devotion to the Rosary. We're grateful to all who participated and contributed to its success
Every year, Catechism Day is celebrated in the month of February or March. However, as it is the exam season and students would be busy during that time, this year, St. Michael’s Church, Bellore celebrated Catechism Day on 20th October 2025 in the church hall as per the suggestion of the Parish Priest.
The Parish Priest, Vice President, Secretary, coordinator of all associations of parish, parents, and students graced the occasion with their presence. The event commenced with a prayer song by the YCS members followed by a prayer service led by the Catechism teachers.
Later, class-wise programs were presented where students showcased their talents through dances, action songs, and skits. To express gratitude for their dedicated service in nurturing faith among children, all 12 teachers, including the Parish Priest, were felicitated with a sapling.
The Parish Priest shared his feelings .The event concluded with a hymn, after which a refreshing drink and sweet were served to all parishioners present.
Mission Sunday was celebrated at St. Michael’s Church on 19th October 2025. The Holy Mass was offered by Fr. Michael Mascarenhas and Fr Edwin Coelho, who spoke about the importance of helping others and spreading God’s love. After the Mass, an auction was held under the guidance of Finance Committee to raise funds for the missions. Parishioners took part with great joy and generosity. The day reminded everyone of their duty to serve and share with others.
The Blessing of Vehicles was held on 12th October 2025 at St. Michael’s Church, Bellore. All the parishioners brought their vehicles to the church compound to seek God’s blessings for safety and protection.
The celebration began with a Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Michael Mascarenhas, spoke about the importance of vehicles in our daily lives and their needs. After the Mass, a spiritual adoration was conducted by Fr. Michael, during which special prayers were offered for all vehicle owners, drivers, and travellers.
The vehicles were then individually blessed, invoking God’s protection over every journey. The event concluded with a delightful breakfast served to all parishioners.

On 5th October 2025, St. Michael’s Ward, Ajinadka joyfully celebrated its Ward Feast. The celebration began with a Holy Mass offered by Fr. Michael Mascarenhas.
On 12th October 2025, a get-together was organized at the residence of Mr. Avil Rasquinha, a ward member, to mark both the Ward Feast and the Monti Feast. The Parish Priest, Vice President, Secretary,Gurkars of all wards , along with all the ward members, graced the occasion with their presence.
The event commenced with a prayer service conducted by the ward members, followed by a formal welcome. Achievers from the ward were felicitated for their achievements in various fields. A cultural program featuring dances and games added joy to the celebration.
The evening concluded with a delicious dinner prepared by the ward members themselves. As a token of appreciation, all guests and ward members received a poetry book written by Mr. Avil Rasquinha and a prayer book of St. Michael.
On 28th September 2025, St. Michael’s Church, Bellore joyfully celebrated the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel, the patron saint of the parish. St. Michael is known as the protector against evil and a symbol of strength..
On this special day, the Holy Mass was hosted by Fr. Vinod Mascarenhas and Fr. Michael Mascarenhas (Parish Priest). After the Mass, the donors were felicitated in gratitude for their generous support. The celebration concluded with breakfast arranged for all the parishioners, marking the day with joy, unity, and blessings.
The Holy Cross Ward, Benjanpadav, celebrated its ward feast on 14th spetember 2025 with great joy and devotion. The celebration began in the church with a Holy Mass, thanking God for His blessings upon the ward families.
The same Evening, a get-together on the account of ward feast as well as Monti feast were held at Mr. Godfrey’s residence, a ward member. The Parish Priest, Vice President, Secretary, and all parish committee members, along with the ward members, graced the occasion with their presence.
The event commenced with a prayer service led by the ward members. A formal welcome was extended to all the guests. Felicitation was done to Senior Citisens of the ward and for Suman Susheel Fernandes, Rahul Fernandes, and Denson D’Mello for their remarkable achievements in academics.
A cultural program featuring dance, singing, and a skit added joy and entertainment to the evening. The celebration concluded with a delicious dinner for all present.
The Feast of the Nativity was joyfully celebrated at Bellore Parish on 8th September with great devotion and enthusiasm. The solemn Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Michael, marking the spiritual highlight of the occasion.
Following the Eucharistic celebration, brilliant students from the 10th and 12th board examinations were honored in recognition of their academic excellence. To spread the joy of the feast, Nove was served in the form of payasam to all participants. In keeping with the tradition of the Nativity feast, each of them also received a special kit containing fruits along with sugarcane, which is a unique and cherished delicacy of the celebration.
The day concluded with a spirit of fellowship, gratitude, and festivity, making the Nativity celebration truly meaningful for the entire parish community.
The Teachers’ Day celebration at Bellore Parish was held on 7th September, following the Sunday Mass organized by the Young Christian Students (YCS). The program was dedicated to honoring and recognizing the invaluable service of teachers to the parish community.
A total of 45 teachers and 3 religious Dominican Nuns, including the Parish Priest, were felicitated during the occasion. The event featured an address by Smt. Luiza Pinto, who spoke on behalf of the teachers and conveyed heartfelt gratitude for the recognition bestowed upon them. The Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Michael, also delivered a speech acknowledging the dedication and contributions of the teachers to both educational and spiritual growth.
The celebration concluded with a group photograph of all the honored teachers, marking the day as a memorable and meaningful tribute to their service.
The parish community participated with great devotion and enthusiasm in the nine days of Novena held in preparation for the Nativity Feast. The celebrations brought together most members of the parish in an atmosphere of joy, reverence, and unity. Each day, following the Holy Mass, the traditional flower offering ceremony was conducted, with parishioners of all ages, including children taking part with deep faith and dedication. Breakfast was graciously provided after the Novena through the generous contributions of donors.
The Youth Movement of Bellore proudly organized “Bellore Lucky Fest – 2025” with great enthusiasm and zeal, aiming to strengthen unity and togetherness among parishioners. The event turned out to be a grand success, with over 100 members of the parish coming together to celebrate in an atmosphere filled with joy, passion, and harmony. From children to seniors, parishioners of all ages actively participated, making the celebration truly memorable and a beautiful expression of community spirit.
“Aatinthlo Ek Dis” was celebrated on 10th August 2025, organized by the Sthree Sangatan in collaboration with the Youth Movement of Bellore. The event featured a traditional lunch inspired by the rich Aati culture of Mangalore, showcasing a variety of authentic delicacies from earlier times.
On 15th August 2025, the parish community of St. Michael’s Church, Belloor joyfully celebrated the twin occasions of the Feast of the Assumption of Mother Mary and the 79th Independence Day of our nation.
The day’s program commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, which was solemnly performed by Rev. Fr. Michael Mascarenhas, Parish Priest. The event was gracefully coordinated by the Youth Movement, Belloor, ensuring smooth organization and wholehearted participation.
The celebrations witnessed active involvement of all parishioners, who came together in a spirit of faith, patriotism, and community unity. The atmosphere was filled with devotion and enthusiasm, making the day truly memorable for everyone present.
As part of Vanamahotsava 2025, the Youth of Belloor Church, in collaboration with ward members from all 10 wards, actively engaged in a month-long sapling plantation initiative.
This collective effort not only emphasized the importance of environmental conservation but also fostered a strong sense of unity and social responsibility among the participants. The program served as a meaningful step towards creating a greener and healthier environment for the community and future generations.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus Ward, Kuriyala, of St. Michael’s Church, Bellore Parish, joyfully celebrated its annual feast on 6th July 2025. The celebration began with a solemn Eucharistic Mass presided over by the Parish Priest, Fr. Michael Mascarenhas, with active participation from all ward members and parishioners.
Following the Mass, a get-together was organized by the ward, attended by the Parish Priest, the Vice President and Secretary of the Parish Pastoral Council, and all ward members. During the program, the ward members felicitated Fr. Michael Mascarenhas on his recent appointment to the parish. Individuals were also honoured for their academic achievements, and new members of the ward were warmly welcomed.
The celebration fostered a spirit of unity, joy, and gratitude among the community. The event was truly a grand success.

The event commenced with a reverent procession involving student representatives, parents, the Vice President, Secretary, catechism teachers, and the parish priest. The theme of the year, “Hope Does Not Disappoint Us,” reflected the parish’s commitment to nurturing the faith of children and its sense of responsibility in their faith formation.
